Content Marketing Executive – Media & Travel – London – c£26k
This is a unique and exciting role that will see you working autonomously on the content marketing and management of this leading household media production and oversees property brand. Alongside media production, the business side of the brand encompasses a property listings website, a magazine and a number of industry-leading exhibitions around the UK.
This is a time of massive digital transformation for the brand, and as Content Marketing Executive, you will be responsible for creating and managing brand-wide content to help increase the online footprint and exposure. You will report into the Marketing Manager within a small team and will have the opportunity to attend events all over the country.
Requirements:
·Proven content management and B2C marketing experience
·Knowledge and understanding of copywriting and editing
·Degree in a relevant subject (i.e. Marketing, Business, PR, Journalism etc)
·Experience of using a content management system to edit content
·Good working knowledge of SEO best practice
·Experience of Google Analytics
·Experience of using HTML
·Very strong grasp of written and spoken English, and strong communication skills
·Understanding of publishing, exhibitions, media, ecommerce, social media marketing, and PPC would be a bonus.
Responsibilities:
·Sole responsibility for creating the content plan, and managing and publishing all online content, including rewriting existing print for the online platform
·Optimising SEO in accordance with best practices
·Writing marketing content
·Updating and optimisation of the website
·Customer insight and analysis
·Liaising with internal and external stakeholders (e.g. copywriters and journalists).
This role would suit an individual with creative flare, and the drive and ambition to own the content marketing function within an exciting, growing brand who are widely regarded as ‘the voice of the industry’.
