The role sits within the Global Digital Experience team, who provide ground breaking digital solutions to deliver market leading digital client experiences, bridging mobile, desktop, back office and other digital media, to provide solutions and services that are driven by customer insight and business & local market demands.
Essential skills and experience:
- 8+ years of Digital Analytics and industry experience
- Strong understanding and working knowledge of common customer experience measurement / optimization tools e.g. Google Analytics, Adobe marketing cloud (Analytics, Target), Decibel Insight, VOC tools (e.g. Medallia, Feedbackify), tag management tools (e.g. Ensighten and Tealium).
- Advanced working knowledge of data visualization tools and integrations with core Digital Analytics platforms (e.g. Power BI, Klipfolio)
- Customer focussed (external or internal) and able to clearly articulate how proposed changes can impact customer experience and company performance
- Ability to influence management by describing and analysing complex and abstract problems with proposed solutions
- Experience of leading the rollout of Digital experience measurement tools e.g. Analytics, VOC platforms
- Able to work effectively in a cross functional highly matrixed environment, able to drive impact through influence as much as control
- Driven, accountable individual who can demonstrates ownership and accountability for analytics deliverables
- Excellent attention to detail with strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with a proven track record of influencing and motivating others at a senior level to achieve results and exceed targets. Ability to communicate complex analytics and insights to different audiences through a range of data, written and verbal methods
Key responsibilities
- Support the needs of a cross functional digital team by analysing digital data to produce reports, insights, actions to drive positive outcomes.
- Explore and manage potential new customer experience vendors/tools and work with the wider business to create business cases for future adoption.
- Act as a senior subject matter expert to other members of the Global Business intelligence team and wider analytics community to advance data analytics capabilities
- Work closely and partner with senior business stakeholders globally to understand their business needs and provide them optimal value from the suite of tools and data.
- Be curious, willing and able to investigate/tease out known or suspected issues from internal / external sources, including voice of customer data, website data, backend system data, 3rd party research and internal observations.
- Evangelising the power of digital data and analytics across the business
- Bring a desire to look beyond data and turn obtained insights into actionable recommendations which align with overall digital and business partners' strategies.
- Assist in identifying gaps in data capture strategy and recommend enhancements
- Engage in "root cause" analysis to assess changes in metrics and underlying causes and provide recommendations for improvement. Ability to use big data infrastructure to mine for insights is a plus here.
- Work closely with testing & optimization function to develop and test new, alternate approaches, or recommend other technologies.
