E-Commerce Manager – London - £30k - Fast Growing E-Tailer
Marketing Talent have an exciting opportunity for a seasoned e-commerce pro (with broad digital skills) to join an entrepreneurial e-commerce business. Reporting into the Head of Brand and CRM, you will take ownership of the website’s trading and ensure they provide the best possible customer experience and deliver on challenging sales targets. You will bring an experience building and scaling merchandising programmes, strong passion and strength in consumer, customer, market understanding and insights to develop creative and innovative solutions.
Responsibilities
·Work closely with the Head of Brand to drive forward planning of the marketing calendar, ensuring the plans reflect the departmental forecasts, and the company’s key products focus
·Develop & implement an online promotional strategy
·Drive the merchandising of the website, including key focuses for home pages, category pages & email campaigns
·Partner with external agencies & in house designer to delivery relevant creative
·Manage the merchandising of the website to ensure key products are featured, cross-sell & upsell are allocated and key customer journeys are reflected
·Oversee and work collaboratively to manage in-season trading activity, and to deliver demand and react to in-season performance
·Drive programme of innovation/testing to improve future performance, and identify new opportunities to achieve category and brand targets
·Monitor competitive creative promotional activity, and make recommendations in response to opportunities/threats
·Develop range expansion strategy and execute on it with commercial team
·Develop best in class approaches for product detail information, including copywriting & image selection
·Ensure the stickiness of the site through the editorial features on the website, including brand stories, local editorial and external website postings
·Report on performance against category sales plans and manage KPIs
Requirements
·3/4 years of experience in e-commerce/website management
·Strong e-commerce background
·Exceptional analytical skills
·Expert project management skills
·Excellent oral, verbal & written communication skills
·Experience setting up & scaling merchandising programmes
·Proficiency in Google Analytics
·Affinity with Visual Design
·HTML knowledge
