Editorial Manager – London – E-commerce Fashion Brand – c£40k + benefits
This is a fantastic opportunity for a hands-on creative Editorial Manager to join a rapidly expanding fashion e-commerce business in London. It’s a key role which will see you developing the current fashion and beauty editorial and really establishing the brands tone of voice. You’ll report into the founder of the business and manage a team of 4 in-house copywriters.
Responsibilities
·Drive and coordinate the full editorial process
·Produce the quarterly editorial calendar
·Create and establish a very distinctive tone of voice for the brand
·Ensure timely submission and publication of all features
·Make sure all editorial content is user-friendly, relevant and published across all channels
·Work closely with product and marketing teams to improve overall product and service
·Lead and manage the Editorial team – recruit team members where necessary
·Research latest trends and promotions keeping updated with the fashion market at all times
Requirements
·Exceptional writer with at least 3-5 years’ experience in digital writing within a B2C fashion or e-commerce environment
·Deep experience in creating brand/tone of voice guidelines
·Social media wizard – understand the power of Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Pinterest
·Experience in creating rich content to increase audience engagement
·Proven line management experience
·Comfortable building and managing an internal and external editorial team
·Creative flair
·Keen eye for detail
·Able to keep up to date with the latest trends
·Motivated, tenacious and ambitious - hungry for success
The company are growing incredibly fast and have over 1000 fashion brands featured on their website. It’s an exciting time for them as they’ve just hit 1 million subscribers. With an already strong presence across all social media platforms, they’re now looking to take the brand to the next level and become market leaders in their field.
The role would suit someone who relishes a hands-on challenge. You’ll need to be comfortable working in the smaller start-up environment. You really have the opportunity to progress and become a key leader in the business.
