Head of Marketing – eCommerce – Oxfordshire (remote initially)
Fantastic opportunity to join this established and growing consumer eCommerce brand as a Head of Marketing, taking a lead role in improving the branding, customer acquisition strategy, customer journey, and overall marketing strategy to help the company propel their growth.
You will lead a small team of marketers, and help grow the team as required, in order to improve marketing performance and company revenues.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experience eCommerce marketer to help propel this brand forward, opening up new territories and opportunities and growing the marketing function.
The role will be 100% remote working to begin with, and then will require c1 day in the office per week when Covid rules permit. They will be flexible if you would rather work in the office more than 1 day per week.
Salary package: up to £70k Basic, with a strong bonus (up to 25%), 27 days annual leave, good pension, private health, staff discounts, and more.

Main skills required:
- Strong brand management skills with experience in developing and scaling a brand
- Substantial experience in marketing campaign management and execution
- Online / Digital, and offline marketing experience
- CRM / Email marketing (ideally email automation software eg. HubSpot, SalesForce, Marketo, Pardot, etc
- Search marketing skills – SEO, Paid Search / PPC
- Preferably some Paid Social / Social Media Marketing experience
- A good understanding of PR and content marketing techniques
- Customer journey / customer experience (CX) experience, and a good eye for improvements in web design and usability
- Creative and Innovative in the way they come up with solutions and thrive of business transformation.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to grow inspire and develop high performing teams
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Commercially minded with good negotiation skills
- Ability to thrive in fast paced environments
Core responsibilities:
- Ownership and development of the brand ensuring there is focus on brand awareness and engagement and that all areas of marketing are aligned to bring one clear vision
- Lead, coach, and develop the marketing team and ensure there is a team structure and operating model to support further growth. Identify and support the training and development of the team to deliver on strategy.
- Ownership, creation and implementation of marketing strategies that are aligned to company goals and objectives.
- Responsible for the customer and consumer journeys for both offline and online business and the UX/UI of these journeys.
- Lead and direct the team on the overall creative and design of the brand and its execution on all platforms
- Lead and direct the team on email marketing strategy
- Lead and direct the team on content strategy and ensure there is creative and compelling content on all channels and platforms
- Lead and direct the team on an effective social media, PR and outreach strategy and implementation that supports growing brand awareness but also enables acquisition.
- Lead and direct the team on our SEO and PPC strategy and ensuring that this managed effectively with the use of internal resource and external agency staff
- Working closely with New product development (NPD) and IT departments on innovation both in terms of products and services.
- Reviewing and reporting on marketing success including KPIs and ROI on campaigns. Making continuous recommendations and improvements to all KPIs based on data/MI.
- Ownership of the marketing budget, ensuring these are set with the MD and monitored and reported on monthly.
