Marketing Executive – Exclusive B2B Events – London – To £27k plus bonus
This is a unique role for a unique Marketing Executive. We are looking for bright, driven marketers with the grit and determination to succeed in a series of exclusive global events for some of the world’s most affluent family businesses.
This is not your average events marketing role, as these events are extremely niche and private. You will not be managing massive campaigns with thousands of subscribers; rather, you will nurture and develop a small community of high-end delegates and speakers across a portfolio of around 15 events across the globe.
Requirements:
·Background in B2B marketing/sales/PR
·Proven skills in marketing for events, including planning and strategy, managing budgets, email marketing, telemarketing and online marketing
·Confidence and resilience is paramount – you must be an excellent communicator
·Excellent networking skills
·Excellent copywriting skills and flawless written English
·Direct mail/marketing experience
·Experience of working with CRM systems
·Not afraid to get your hands dirty and muck in where needed within a cross-functional team
· Any foreign languages would be a bonus
Responsibilities:
·Organise and market up to 8 annual events out of the portfolio
·Build networks with top businesspeople
·Contct and book speakers for each event
·Extensive email campaigns using SalesForce
·Create content for website, mailouts and magazines
· Some social media activity (mainly Twitter and LinkedIn)
·Analysis and reporting on campaign activity
·Work closely with the sales team on audience growth and development, and lead nurturing.
This role will provide the successful applicant with the chance to work on some of the world’s most exclusive private events with the possibility of global travel.
