Marketing Manager | Financial Publishing | London | To £32k plus bonus
This is an exciting opportunity to join the flagship brand of this global FTSE 250 financial publishing firm, based in the City of London. As Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for managing all subscriptions sales and marketing through all online and offline channels, and will have a creative and proactive attitude.
Requirements:
·Proven marketing experience, preferably in B2B subscriptions
·Online product development experience
·Print and online direct marketing experience
·Digital marketing including SEO, paid search and email campaigns
·Data segmentation experience – identifying the appropriate audience and ensuring the right message reaches the right audience
·Ability to liaise with external suppliers including designers and print & mailing houses
·IT literate including MS Office, CRM, web and email packages
·Analytical, numerate and creative
Responsibilities:
·Pro-actively manage all marketing functions, particularly subscription sales through all online and offline channels
·Improve efficiency of spend by reducing mailing costs via creative, print or postage savings
·Develop initiatives to increase subscription loyalty and retention
·Analyse results from campaigns in order to improve future performance and ROI
·Ensure the capture of market demographics through online and offline channels
·Develop a marketing plan with the Senior Marketing Manager that aims to over-achieve the forecast
·Liaise with the publisher, Senior Marketing Manager, Web development team and editorial team on product development
·Work closely with the editorial team to ensure that the website is optimised to help generate traffic
·Work closely with the telesales team to ensure all activity is co-ordinated with marketing
·Co-ordinate the building of relationships with new partners
·Increase subscription levels in underperforming sectors and geographic areas
·Develop a coherent online strategy that encompasses soft and hard offer promotional email activity, banner advertising
·Ensure that the renewals series is running as it should
·Conduct ongoing competitor analysis
·Review the budget on a monthly basis and recommend to the Senior Marketing Manager any changes that should take place
·Development of tactics to increase readership rates among subscribers
·Ensuring that all invoices are paid on time, and are processed accurately.
