You will work as part of the marketing team to consult and advise marketing teams, support roll-out and measure the impact of content marketing in our lead generation, nurturing and conversion process for the international portfolio of events, training and subscriptions products.
Main skills:
- Successful track record of marketing experience within a B2B environment, including at least 3 years of content marketing responsibilities
- Solid understanding of B2B demand generation, lead nurturing & lead scoring
- Proven track record of running content marketing programs that have delivered measurable results
- Strong analytical skills including ability to assess ROI, where relevant
- Excellent communication and persuasive skills
- Proven hands-on experience growing and engaging an audience via Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook, YouTube, Slideshare, and blogs
- Experience with analytics, measurement tools and platforms e.g. Google Analytics, WebTrends, etc
- Experience with marketing automation software (eg. Neolane / Adobe Campaign / Adobe Cloud)
- Hands-on experience writing content which adheres to SEO best practices
- A “can-do” attitude with a relentless obsession for customer satisfaction and audience engagement. You don’t wait for others and are willing to move quickly with skilled and tactical execution
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment and excel at handling concurrent projects
- Agency experience is a plus
Main Responsibilities:
- Consult and advise marketing teams, support roll out and measure the impact of content marketing in the lead generation, nurturing and conversion process for an international portfolio of events, training and subscriptions products.
- Develop innovative strategies to enable businesses to use and create valuable, relevant high quality content to help attract and nurture customers and prospects.
- Responsible for developing a content marketing framework to be used across the company.
- Teach the organisation the art of communicating with customers and prospects, without selling.
- Act as the global content marketing evangelist to identify relevant, valuable and crunchy content that exists and understand how to capture and use it effectively.
- Train marketers on how to develop and execute content marketing plans and establish best practice to measure and report on the engagement with content and content types.
- Analyse and understand how different types and different value content can be used at each stage of the customer journey and adapted for each marketing channel: online, social, mobile, email, etc.
- Recommend best form of content to be used by marketing teams: white papers, single articles, micro sites, info papers, slide share, video, infographics, webinars, audio, interviews, photo streams, dynamic content, personalised content, data points, behavioural targeting.
- Champion for internal discussion and training to keep content marketing at the forefront of everyone’s agenda – from the managing directors to editors to marketers to sales teams.
- Experiment with new techniques and new technologies to increase the effectiveness of content marketing campaigns.
