Senior PPC Manager – Bracknell – To £55k

Department Overview
The Digital Sales & Marketing division is accountable for all traffic to the sites (web, mobile web and apps), the conversion of these visitors into sales, and the digital retention and loyalty of these customers to generate repeat sales, across two brands.
Main duties/responsibilities of the role
The Senior PPC Manager accountable for paid search activities, across both brands. To be successful you will need to leverage your specialist expertise and knowledge of paid search advertising not limited to Pay per Click.
You will be taking ownership of the Pay per Click (PPC), campaigns, analysing the results and advising changes to maximise return on investment.
In this role, you will be managing/supporting an external team; therefore, this role is ideal for a PPC Manager who is ready to take the next step in their digital career.
Responsibilities
•You will be responsible for managing the PPC budgets to optimise spend and find efficiencies across EMEA
•You will produce ad-hoc presentations and reports for deep-dive queries and hypothesis creation.
•You will constantly advising on optimising the accounts by implementing on-site and off-site testing and development cycles.
•You will also be working closely with all other digital operations within the business to ensure, that all campaigns are fully integrated and are running to the best of their potential.
•You will work closely with other international teams to report and share best practices globally
•Optimising spend and conversion rate
•Attending stakeholders meetings to present detailed information about campaign performance
•Responsible for ensuring all weekly, monthly & ad hoc reports for the other stakeholders, are produced in a timely and accurate manner.
•Ensure that all invoices are created within the companies finance system
•Working closely with the finance team so that all media spend is according to planned budgets.
•Take responsibility for the strategy to achieve ROI targets.
•Lead regional teams to implement strategy and best practices and deliver targets
•Assume lead responsibility for future planning and forecasting at a campaign and account level.
•Target €71m Booked Revenue across EMEA
Work Experience/Background
•Must have at least 5 years online marketing experience, minimum of 3 years within a senior paid search role
•Agency and client side experience essential.
•Fluent in English, additional languages a plus
•Must be able to demonstrate understanding of web technologies
•Support all areas of development and management of a team with the search marketing agency to optimise paid search programs in EMEA
•Strong stakeholder management with the ability to articulate strategy and business cases
Key Skills required
•Excellent knowledge of Google AdWords and DoubleClick bid-management tool
•Track record of analysing PPC issues and opportunities, and providing and implementing recommendations
•Strong knowledge of web analytics solutions (such as Omniture and Google Analytics) and Microsoft Excel
•Drive to meet and exceed targets/timescales
•Ability to work within a team or on own initiative
•A keen attention to detail, excellent analytical skills and confident communication skills
•The enthusiasm to keep abreast of industry standards, new technologies, and the latest approaches in digital marketing
•Extensive experience of managing PPC campaigns with large budgets
•Assisting in financial forecasts and other stakeholders presentations
•Attending stakeholders meetings to present detailed information about country campaign performance
•You must also be able to demonstrate understanding and have had experience of SEO/display/affiliates.
•Experience in online travel is a plus
