In this role as Senior SEO Manager you will be an integral member of the Digital Acquisition & Retention team to drive the strategic planning, implementation and integration of all SEO programmes and activities, for both Avis and Budget brands.
Person Spec:
•Proven track record of at least 5 years in a lead SEO role within a high profile B2C environment
•Experience of developing strategies at the most senior level, as well as filtering this strategy down and ensuring it is effectively implemented
•Effectively manage and motivate a team
•You must also be able to demonstrate understanding and have had experience of PPC/Social/eCRM/Ddisplay/Affiliates
•A working knowledge of HTML, CSS and Java is a must
•An in-depth knowledge of Google webmaster guidelines and best practices
•Demonstrate a working knowledge of SEO tools such as Brightedge, Majestic SEO, Screaming Frog, Google Webmaster tools
•Be highly proficient in Web analytics with experience of both Adobe Site Catalyst and Google Analytics
•Must be able to demonstrate experience and success in web platform SEO migrations for large ecommerce platforms
To be successful you will need to leverage your specialist expertise and knowledge of SEO working across all media and in the Consumer, SME, Corporate and Intermediary markets. You must also be able to demonstrate understanding and have had experience of PPC.
•Manage and work with the SEO agency to deliver profitable SEO solutions
•Create SEO strategies for content management systems, information architecture, web design and usability
•Interrogating the website analytics (adobe site catalyst) and providing clear actions and insights the Digital team
·Work with the agency and content teams to make landing page tweaks using HTML, CSS and PHP to enhance existing campaigns
•Provide clear actions and insights to the wider Digital team
•Prepare and present compelling on-site SEO audits, best practise guidelines, review documentation, SEO strategy documents and monthly reporting to all levels up to CEO/President/Board
•Work with the agency to produce SEO analysis including, performance metrics, keyword research, competitive market audits, website audits, etc
•Train colleagues within the business on all aspects of SEO
