We have an amazing opportunity to join this London based global leader in B2B financial publishing as a SEO Manager, taking a lead role in creating and delivering Search Engine Optimisation and Search Engine Marketing strategies across a global portfolio of content & information products.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced SEO Manager, or somebody who is moving up from a SEO Executive level role, and now wishes to push themselves to the next level within SEO.

Required Experience:
- In depth technical understanding of SEO requirements both on-site and off-site
- Ability to analyse and interpret data to turn insights into actionable plans
- Experience with keyword research, ranking and crawling tools such as Google Search Console, Moz and Screaming Frog
- Knowledge of HTML/CSS
- Proficient user of data and visualisation tools including Excel, Google Analytics and Data Studio
- Experience building and optimising paid search campaigns in Google Ads / PPC
- A solid understanding of digital marketing practices
- Prior experience working within a B2B subscriptions led business would be advantageous
Key Responsibilities:
- Own the development and execution of SEO strategies that improve search performance for the portfolio of brands. Strategies should be informed by business requirements and objective, keyword research and analysis, on-site audits, backlink analysis and competitor research
- Understand how technical SEO improvements can help achieve business goals by brand, and translate into clear actionable steps and priority order for the development team
- Own the implementation of SEO improvements that can be made without development resource requirement through the CMS
- Establish processes for SEO tracking, measurement and reporting, partnering with the Product Marketing team to regularly review SEO health
- Respond to all SEO advice and support queries from NextGen marketers and the Product team, providing best practice guidance to encourage an SEO mindset
- Assist in proposing, deploying and maintaining the annual budget in relation to SEO and tools required
- Help inform paid search strategy, working with the Product Marketing and Subscriptions Marketing teams to improve campaign effectiveness
- Develop communication and workflow processes between the Marketing Technology & Insight team and the Central Martech team in relation to organic and paid search optimisation
