Requirements
- Direct subscription marketing experience preferably in B2B.
- Events marketing experience.
- Strong focus on data – an understanding of list building and database creation ideal.
- Excellent written English, copy writing and proofing skills.
- Analytical skills - ability to prepare and execute direct marketing campaigns from planning to execution and then produce meaningful analysis, on which to base informed conclusions.
- Organised and efficient, able to juggle more than one product and many campaigns at a time.
- Enthusiastic, committed and motivated – initiative to streamline current methods and propose new.
- Intermediate understanding of Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Experience in offline and digital marketing.
Responsibilities
- To take responsibility for delivering direct marketing campaigns for both subscriptions and events, with the assistance of the Senior Marketing Manager.
- Responsible for working within the agreed budget and deadlines of the marketing plan
- Implement promotional activity - controlling all elements: copy, design, print, data, mailing/emailing and analysis to optimise ROI.
- Work closely with analyst team to ensure each product is properly represented, benefits identified and marketing is reaching the target market via a mixture of channels.
- Work closely with telesales to provide successful leads and achieve best practice.
- Ensure telesales, hotline and electronic media sales teams have full product knowledge and are actively promoting the products.
- Work with the list research department to acquire new relevant leads.
- Adhere to best practice at all times relating to data protection.
- Propose product / market research to SMM, setting objectives for, and overseeing.
- Undertake activity to maintain and improve the renewal rate.
- Keeping all elements of the online marketing content up to date using website analytics and in house systems.
