This exciting opportunity will see you relocating to the beautiful channel island of Jersey. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a dynamic team producing excellent content for the brand’s website and developing the part of the website dedicated to beauty advice, including Q&As, guides, product advice and tutorials.
What we need from you:
- Strong knowledge and experience within the beauty sector (be that salon management, store counter management or similar)
- Excellent command of the English language, including great communication skills and attention to detail within copywriting and copyediting
- Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop would be beneficial
- Proven management and leadership skills within a dynamic, fast paced environment
- Highly organised with strong project management experience and problem-solving skills
- Good IT and Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel
- Must have the ability to use your own initiative.
What you’ll be doing:
- To lead, manage and develop the product content team, including setting KPIs
- To develop a beauty advice centre on the website with the capability for customer to ask product advice questions at any stage of the browsing experience
- To work with multiple internal and external stakeholders to offer detailed advice
- To ensure that everything is properly moderated and used to improve the customer shopping experience and increase conversion
- To ensure all data displayed on the product pages and search results is fully accurate, optimised and complete in order to increase conversion and improve user experience
- To partner with brands and category managers to ensure timely delivery of all required data ready for launch of all new products, new brands and also product updates
- To create, add and maintain promotional pages
- Ensure that a wide range of samples are available during the checkout process
- To work with colleagues in supporting the new beauty advice centre with product information visible to the customer through the website
- Ad hoc tasks and projects as determined by the Operations Director, COO or CEO.
